Welcome to Gryffindor, a house known equally for its bravery and insanity. If you are a new student and unfamiliar with HOL, or need a refresher course on all the new changes to the house and HOL, we have constructed this helpful section (a FAQ) to assist you on your quest for knowledge. We recommend that you read this entire document at least once.

In addition to this FAQ, there is also a very useful document known as THE HOL HANDBOOK. The HOL Handbook will answer most all of your questions as it is a compendium of knowledge designed to help you through your time on HOL. IT IS A MANDATORY REQUIREMENT, STARTING 1 SEPTEMBER 2005, THAT EVERY NEW GRYFFINDOR READS THIS FAQ. RETURNING STUDENTS SHOULD READ THIS ALSO, AS A LOT OF RULES AND POLICIES HAVE CHANGED FOR THIS SCHOOL YEAR.
