Paw Print Emails

All Paw Print emails are now up and working. Here is a list of what you can do with them.

Announcements
If you have an announcement you would like to have added, please send it to prancing_lion@hotmail.com Be advised that this paper only comes out monthly, so your announcement may be outdated if it is sent in too early or too late. Deadline is usually around the 20th of every month. The Announcements Editor has the right to not accept you announcement if it does not meet HOL's language or content rules.

Gossip Column
If you have a question for Professor Snape pawprintgossip@hotmail.com is the place to send it. (Please have the subject as Dear Snape). All entries will be answered, however be careful what you send. You never know what kind of response you will get.

Also, if you want to send in an editorial you would want to send it to missa@gundamwing.net Be advised that it will be edited for spelling and grammar. Also, the editor has a right to not print what you send in if it is deemed disrespective or if it is an attack on any one person, or many people.

The Creative Quill
Every month the Creative Quill holds poetry and fanfiction contests. All submissions for these should be sent to creative_quill@hotmail.com

Questions, Comments, Suggestions and Criticism
All these should be sent to pawprintsubmit@hotmail.com with the subject heading being "comment, question" etc. Basically whatever your email entails.

Gryffindor House Meetings

Gryffindor would like to welcome all cubbies to the Gryffindor house meetings. They take place on ever second Sunday of the month. Details about the meeting will be posted on the Gryffindor forum some point before the meeting. For more information about the meeting go to the link.

A Point Opportunity

Hello all you little lions. The HOL head students have brought every body a wonderful point opportunity so take advantage of it while you can. So, list your reasons why you love each of our splendid houses - and HOL in general, in a paragraph. Send Christmas Cards To The Harry Potter Actors!!

Have you ever wanted to send a letter or a card to one of the Harry Potter actors but you were a afraid they wouldn’t answer? Well here is your chance because Professor DeLaCour has come up with a way.
All you need to do is Send in
1)A Holiday greeting
2)A fan Letter of any length. Tell them what you feel about them and how much they’re appreciated. (please no negative letters.)

Watch Out For Food Circulating In The Common Room

There is some odd food circulating through our tower. They turn people in to salamanders and snakes temporarily. Some people are saying the Slytherins are doing this, however that cannot be proven at this time. It may be the seagulls, but again, we are not sure. So be careful if you see anything odd please report it to us. We must know, so we can stop this.

Paw Print Wants You

Paw Print is looking for three to five dedicated writers to join its rank. These people need to have a good grasp of the English language, be able to work and complete things before a deadline and be able to follow directions. They also need to be able to access rapidforum accounts, as well as invison board accounts.

These people would be working in the News Department. They would only have to write one article a month, unless they feel they are able to do more. Assignments are posted at the end of every month and are due approximately three weeks later. Last minute articles are handed out throughout the month, but not often.

If you are interested in becoming a member of the Paw Print, then please send an email to missa@gundamwing.net with the subject: PP staff reporter. Please be sure to include your HOL name and ID for verification purposes, as well as a small paragraph explaining why you would be a welcome addition into our home. Please note that spelling and grammar will be looked at.

The Sprouting Willow?

The Whomping Willow was in full bloom at the end of last term. For years, this tree has been seen only as a way to beat student's back with it branches and antagonize animals that are wondering about the school grounds. However, some students have spotted the Whomping Willow have small tree sprouts next to it. One must wonder, are we going to be whacked by even more trees? Please make sure to stay WELL away from the Whomping Willow and its seedlings, as we do not know exactly how protective the Willow will be of them.
