<br>On June 9<SUP>th</SUP>, HOLers everywhere had the chance to see a wonderful game between Gryffindor and Hufflepuff. Recovering from the loss they suffered in the match with Ravenclaw, GQT managed a fantastic victory over our black&yellow friends. Hence the badger burgers you probably already gulped in the CR.

<br>Unfortunately, it was the Ravenclaw Quidditch Team who managed to steal the cup, because of the small difference in the number of goals scored by each team. Seeing as the GQTers have worked very 
hard this year, the only blame goes to their faulty broomsticks. We are expecting only wins next year, as the Common Room is raising funds to buy new brooms (you did not think that the Den sale was just for fun now, did you? :O)

<br>Term officially ends on June 20<SUP>th</SUP>, 2007. We know how much you love procrastinating, you’re Gryffindors. But still, don’t forget to send in those exams and win those points. And let’s not forget the quills, which are of the utmost importance and mandatory in order to pass the year. Good luck with your work! ;D

<br>4. Gryffindor Summer Camp

<br>Make lists and prepare to pack, summer camp is going to start soon! /o/\o\ Prepare yourselves for a summer full of adventure and insanity, in random settings that the <STRIKE>evil and conniving</STRIKE> nice, helpful and caring prefects have prepared for you. Details coming soon, don’t forget to check the CR from time to time. ^__^

<br>HOLers from all houses have delighted us with their wonderful voices this term. After several rounds of elimination, it is down to just two students: Lalaith Lomion and Gryffindor’s own Harry Parme.

<br>6. The Quadwizard Tournament

<br>The results of the first two QWT tasks have been announced <a href="http://hol.org.uk/forum/index.php?s=&showtopic=16343&view=findpost&p=198322">here</a> and it looks like the Gryffindor champion, Brenna, is currently in third place. Keep an eye out for the results of the last task, it should be posted soon on the HOL forum!

You are absolutely not going to believe this. No, really, you just won't. Trust me. But! After several months of waiting the results of the first ever Gryff-lympics have finally been announced! <br>8. April Den Challenge
<br>------------------------------------------</b>
<br>Although the egg hunt was thoroughly exhausting (how mean can squirrels get? :o), all dens have done a great job \o/. However, the ones who managed to be the overall winners of the Easter Den Challenge were the <B>Toffee Tigers</B>. Separated by 8 points were the Peppermint Panthers in second place. The Caramel Cougars followed, coming in third, and last but not least, the Licorice Lions in fourth place. Congratulations to all members who participated! *\o\*

<br>And also congratulations to everyone who took part in the individual egg collecting, and special cheesecakes for Brenna Westfeld and Gwyd Aerlyn, who got 1<SUP>st</SUP> place. Not far from them were on second place Angel Blackstone with 11 eggs and on third place Cyriel Aurorus and Willow Granger, with 10 eggs each. Barrels of butterbeer for them! \o/

<br>9. May Den Challenge
<br>------------------------------------------</b>
<br>All battleships are currently floating and waiting for Mira to return and decide their fate. We have been desperately <STRIKE>chugging butterbeer</STRIKE> looking for Mira and her whereabouts, but unfortunately there are no clues as to where the portkey might have taken her at the moment seeing as the place is unplottable. XD
<br>
<br>Due to this unforeseen incident, challenge winners had to be determined based on standins at the time of Mira's disappearance. Congratulations to the Licorice Lions for winning the May challenge! Followed by the Peppermint Panthers in second, the Caramel Cougars in third, and the Toffee Tigers in fourth!
