Did you manage to pick up a pair of snake skin boots after the GQT's crushing victory over the SQT? If not, then never fear because it's not too late to get a pair! The GQT is currently swimming in snake skins, and they're more than happy to supply you with boots! Here's what you need to do to get your very own pair of snake skin boots:
1. track down a member of the GQT
2. offer them some butterbeer
3. do their homework for them
4. buy them something expensive
5. become their minion for a week
6. ask them for a pair of snake skin boots
And that's all it takes to get your boots! Easy, huh? (Note: Depending on how nice the GQTer you find is, steps 2-5 may not be necessary).

The final four for HOL's Last Icon Maker challenge have been chosen! Congratulations to Kenna Love, Faye Roderick, Nika Gallagher and Jenna Hathaway!! Did you know that HOL was hosting a contest for a new banner for the HOL forum? Well, the results are in! Congratulations to Momoko Asakura for creating the winner banner! Her work will be showcased as the default banner. Specials skins are going to be made for Professor Tambaqui Balthazar's banner and Melody Greenspell's banner.

3. Paw Print Issue 27

The 27th issue of Gryffindor's own newspaper, The Paw Print is out! Due to the Gryffindor common room going down, and the Paw Print boards getting virus after virus, this is a smaller issue. However, there are still lots of great things to check out, especially the Prose and Cons Challenge. There are poems, short stories and pictures.

Congratulations to our Gryffindor Quidditch Team for defeating Slytherin in an exciting match on November 18th! After a dominating 230-60 win, Gryffindor is now in first place for the Interhouse Quidditch Cup!!! Special mention goes to Jenny Lupin for winning her first official seeker match and receiving the Most Valuable Player Award, and to Seven Ashitaka for scoring an impressive FIFTEEN goals!! Well done, GQT! Plenty of snake skin boots are still available, so track down your nearest GQTer to pick up a pair!

Was the recent SQT vs GQT game not enough for you? Do you need even more exciting quidditch action? Well you’re in luck because the GQT has another game coming up! This time the Gryffindor Quidditch Team will be facing off against the Hufflepuff Quidditch Team in a match that’s sure to put you on the edge of your seat. This upcoming game takes place on Saturday, December 2nd at 9 pm HOL (4 pm EST) in #quidditch on IRC. A massive badger burger barbecue is set to take place after the match, so be sure to clear the room in your schedules to accommodate this tasty badger cookout!
