If you noticed everyone walking around in snake-skin boots and eating odd-looking sandwiches around November-December, then you probably figured out why. On November 3rd Gryffindow had a resounding victory in their match with the Hufflepuff Quidditch Team, the final score being 250-30. Also, on December 15th, GQT won against the Slytherin Quidditch Team with 130 points to 100! */o/*\o\*

Do you want to achieve eternal glory? To be some sort of a hero? Well, dream on, we don’t have a Goblet of Fire of our own. This is your chance to show your Gryffindor spirit and cheer on the GQT as they zoom around the Quidditch field throwing the Quaffle left and right (mainly through the hoops though). Number 3: The Solar Cycle 24 Begins project. Does it sound interesting? Yes, it does. It’s also worth 20 points. Make sure you click the link above and follow the rules.
Number 4: If you haven’t done that yet and haven’t missed deadlines set in stone, send in your exams. Please. Earn your points and your quills. Remember that you need 2 quills to advance to the next year, so if you missed the chance to earn them this term, do your best in the second term. And earn points. Because we like it when you earn points.

12. End of Term Nagging Mini-Speech

We would like to make this a memorable end of term speech (after the long absence), so we’ll take this opportunity to remind you to earn points. And we do not have a points obsession.

As the first term is ending, we hope you used it wisely and had fun, tortured newbies, made friends, and earned points. You can always find something to do around the halls of HOL, so don’t go hiding around corners and instead face the people. And always remember to stay true to yourself. And to your nerfbats. And earn points. Because in case we didn’t mention it before, we like you even more when you earn points.
