Demons haunting me
Shadow black and full of ash
Demons follow me
Ghosts surround the clock
A night that’s full of haunting
Ghosts are bound to locks

"Evils of Halloween"
See the empty heavens cry
Because they all refuse to die.
Bring the weary restless sleeping
Deep enough for endless dreaming.
Feel the hollow wasteland burn
Fazing out from what we've learned.
Ease the pain of dying screams
By giving strength to heartless beings.
Don't be afraid
It's judgement day
You were the one
To end all this
But you're too late
Not before the clock hands turn
The buildings all begin to burn.
Across the fields the people run
Far away from blazing suns.
More than most have yet to brave
The ones that we forgot to save.
Leave them all to die their deaths;
You never thought to save their breath.
Lasting life becomes so rare
And now there's no one left to spare.

Party with my friends--
Who are all of these people?
Costumes hide the truth.

Spooky treats are fun.
Spookier to my waistline
when the party's done.

Halloween's for us.
Wizard folk come out to play
hidden by the crowds.

Costumed revelers:
no way to tell the muggles
from us magic folk.

Costumes are put on
Sweets are ready by the door
Excitement surges

Hallowe'en is here!
It's time for Trick-or-Treating
When magic appears

-

Fierce and cheery grins
Jack-O'-Lanterns all around
Carved faces gleaming

Round, orange, glowing
Heralds of All Hallows Eve
Bring light to that night

Zee and Zuvi's Halloween
Zee and Zuvi time
Creating havoc galour
Look out common room

TP in our hands
and silly string on the way.
Good times we shall have

Halloween
Halloween is fun
Costumes costumes everywhere
Lots of fun for all

Dressing up so cool
Playing different characters
For lots of candy

The Heart of the Lion
The battle starts, the drums of war
The war within a Gryffindor
Their hearts let out a mighty roar
And spirits of the lions soar
With Halloween so near the fight
Gets furious, and the war might
Just be too much for one, that’s right
Destruction of sanity in sight
A fight? A war? You wonder yet
In you there’s too, I sure do bet
Because you are so confused
Should you make a costume set
Or do some poetry to get
Those rubies, if you have to choose?

Halloweep
Living bats and pumpkin pies
Zombies, mummies, loads of lies
And some silly first year’s tries
To kill off quite some irksome flies
That is Halloween I say
In Gryffindor the greatest day
And with some luck we’ll send away
The vampire Edward we hate, yay!
And maybe we can also add
A little butterbeer to that?
But also Halloween is sad
Gryfftoberfest will end, too bad

My favorite part of Halloween
Is not exactly all the ordinary things
Like trick or treating
Or dressing up and candy-eating
But rather what the time signifies
The time that all the trees look glorified
In all its orange, brown, and yellow
Autumn comes, and I'm feeling mellow
I've often wondered why it's called fall
Sure, the leaves are falling, but is that all?
Maybe it's because it means summer has ended
No more playing around, no more being lazy
School is starting back
Time to tidy up the backpack
And yet I still feel so serene
Whenever autumn comes around

#2:
We may not celebrate Halloween
But that does not mean we can't join in the fun
Lots of places all over the world
And people I meet from other countries
Are sharing their stories
Lots of websites I visit everyday
Are showing their best Halloween spirits
Many include virtual trick or treating
Some others offer virtual costume contests
Playing games and exchanging stories
Makes me feel like I'm all part of the festivities
So maybe I have no "real" Halloween celebration
But hey, I'm certainly feeling the spirit
Even if it's just in the virtual world

Trick or Treats?
Trick or treat
pixie's feet
fill our cauldron
with something sweet.
Cockroach clusters
chocolate frogs
minty melts
or pumpkin logs.
House to house
door to door
we'll search for sugar
forever more.
Well, I guess
that's not right
mom says just on
Halloween night.

Halloween Haiku
It's All Hallows Eve
creepy creatures all about
hunting little prey.
They swiftly attack
ding dong, trick or treat! They say.
Candy corn is theirs.
